Peace and Quiet
FAQs

Q: Who are Peace & Quiet?
A:
Julian Peace and Frank Quiet, are members of the Criminal Operations Prevention Squad (C.O.P.S.). They are tight pants wearing, fast car driving, no nonsense, break the rules to get the job done crime fighters with a distinctive 70's flavour.

Q: How long are the films?
A: We've made three episodes: Noise Pollution (7 mins), Dr Genius & the Secret Agent Formula (12 mins) and the latest, Fast Pants - Tight Cars (29 mins).

Q: How much did you guys spend?
A: Close to one fifth of two halves of bugger all. Noise Pollution cost nothing, Dr Genius about $300 and Fast Pants about $2000 (including the cast & crew party).

Q: How the hell can you make these films for bugger all money?
A:
Everybody who worked on these films did it for love not money.   We shot on weekends and we cut deals for the use of cameras and lights at no charge.   We also recruited a talented cast and crew (from our friends, and friends of friends etc) and kept them loyal via a constant supply of home cooked meals.   We've been lucky to have access to a large pool of talented and enthusiastic people who believe in our projects and have generously devoted their time and talents to them over the years.   Without these guys and girls to draw on we could never make films to the production levels we do on the budgets we have.

Q: Where can I see the films?
A: Fast Pants - Tight Cars has started its festival run (check back here for screening details). We will hopefully have a downloadable version of Fast Pants and Dr Genius later in 2005.

Q: Are there more episodes coming?
A: We're currently developing a feature screenplay with a view to attracting finance.

Q: Have you guys done any other films?
A: Yep sure have. Fast Pants is the 13 th film we've done together. We've tackled many different types of films (Sci-Fi, black comedy, spaghetti western, thrillers and actions) and are always looking for something new. Check some of them out here.
